MonoMonday: Strength

They are spindly little things but they are very very strong. Here is a glimpse of Scenic World's "Skyway" which traverses a section of the Blue Mountains' Jamison Valley. It is supported by two surprisingly thin cables, each designed to independently support (reportedly)150% of the weight of the fully loaded gondola for an indefinite period. The chances of both cables failing simultaneously seems very remote indeed and the security of cable anchoring systems at either end is pretty convincing. I reckon you have to accept these cables as a symbol of "strength".

This is my contribution for the MonoMonday: Strength challenge, ably hosted by Chantler63. Thank you Kathy.
