Why Not?

A: (Stern knowing voice) Don't even think about it!

Me: (Inspired) But I think they'll hold me!

A: (Parental even though you're not a parent voice) No they won't & then what will happen?

Me: (Desperate to climb the railing in a justified adventurous way) I will plummet to the ground (in a joyous slow motion scene) surrounded by magnificent, glow in the dark balloons & people everywhere will remember the final spectacular flight of balloon girl (said in one breath)!!!!!

A: (With a look that says a thousand words) Really?

Me: (Admitting defeat but planning to come back when A is not around)....So you want to have lunch?

A: (somewhat relieved) Yeah
