And They Danced....

A women in a beautiful sari smiled and waved hello as she passed by the man in the traditional Papua dress. The girl in the kimono ate paella with the Thai dancer. The painted Aboriginal man laughed with the Mexican wrestler and the African tribal crew joined forces with the Brazilian carnival. 

Today is the Viva Victoria festival  - an afternoon where Melbourne comes together to further celebrate its diverse and magical community.

There was laughter and music, feasting  and marvelling, and at some stage through the day, each group was called to the stage and to the beat of Melbourne's heart - they danced...and we danced with them!


This blip is a grand and beautiful head dress and I think it summed up the day perfectly!
