A day of two halves

The morning promised so much. But a change in the direction of the wind meant using the (short) grass runway. We were overloaded so I volunteered to remain grounded so Mr EAnn could take two friends up in the 4 seater. Disappointing but I will get off next time hopefully. A bit galling that half an hour after landing the main runway was back in use.
Anyway in the afternoon we headed off to Wakefield for a one day folk festival in the excellent new venue Unity Works. Saw Gilmore and Roberts, Chris Wood, The Mighty Doonans, Martin Carthy and (as you can see) the lovely Seth Lakeman.
All were fabulous and this was Seth doing an unplugged encore about 4 feet from me. Thrilling.
