This picture does have a purpose

This is what it looks like under the kitchen floor.  All will be revealed at a later date.

Started they day with various minor DIY issues (including much cursing at IKEA's terrible sink waste design).  Then into Edinburgh to visit some friends and pick up another one at the airport.

One of those lovely spring days when every moment in the car I wished I was not in the car!
