Fire and Friends

Today I have done very little that contributed to our imminent move, except dig up a few more bulbs from the garden.

The evening was spent round the fire with our good friends Karen and Neil, drinking beer, chatting and burning all manner of wood from this week's prunings (Jon had a bit of work) to old kitchen chairs (fun to watch)!

We love our fires, and so do our friends. Especially Neil. Although he is a bit fuzzy in this one, I liked the 'firework like' sparkly bits! Karen & Neil are Mollie's god parents, and have very kindly offered to give her a home next year so that she can complete her A levels in Cambridge, once we have moved. Lucky Mollie, I know she will be safe & well looked after, but we will miss her.
