Bracken's golden aura!
This morning I found it really hard to wake up. My weekend (or rather the driving and lack of a long lie in) seems to have exhausted me! Pathetic 50 year old woman! When he woke, Henry was coughing badly, but I packed him off to school anyway, hoping he would manage. His temperature was not up.
I got sent off down through a little village this morning on my way in, due to an accident on the main Cromer to Norwich road. I think I have a good sense of direction and found my way back to the road I needed without losing too much time.
It was good to see everyone in the team back at work today. A busy time, so we need all hands on deck. At lunchtime I took a wander to the bead shop via the cash point. I was careful to only take out £10 though! A short £5 later and with a small bag of beads and charms in hand, I walked quickly back to the office, without time to think about a blip photo subject.
I left at 4 anxious to see how Henry was. I had texted him to say go to bed, and was pleased to find that is where he was when I got in. It is so nice getting home early (5 o'clock today!) especially when the sun is out. So I put 2 potatoes in the oven and took the dogs out, together with my camera.
The dogs enjoyed a nice long walk which they don't get in the morning when I take them, and I took loads of photos, enjoying the early evening low sun. I'm afraid I had to crop out Bozli from this as he didn't have that lovely glow around him, being a black and grey old man.
Back home we had dinner, then spent the next hour or so delving into and sorting through a huge bag of craft bits and pieces that my sister in law had given me. I was like a kid in a sweet shop!
Henry went to bed at 8 o'clock and I had intended going at 9! The craft stuff took over my evening it would seem!
