Swans and Chairs

I went by the millpond in a neighboring city...in search of anything waterfowl. 4 male ducks (where have all the females gone?), no geese, and this pair of swans.

I had to wait until they got in front of the reflection house. 7-8 blue and pink adirondack chairs. Makes me wonder if guys can sit in the pink ones. There is also a lot of glass in the house. You can just barely see it in the bottom of the picture.

My parking in back of a local funeral parlor brought a visit from the local police. "What are you doing parking here...Buddy?"

"First of all...my name's not Buddy, and as for my reason...I just SWANted to take a few pictures."

"You keep trying to be a wise guy, and you're going to earn a trip to see the inside of our pokey. (I've always wanted to use that word since watching NYPD Blue.)

I snapped back to my senses and answered..."Yes sir...I'll take a few pictures, and be outta here."

Would have been better with babies. Tomorrow will probably be some kind of Memorial Day picture. Have a nice holiday if you're in the U.S., as we kick off the summer season.
