Some purchases mean the world to you... They're more than just a possession, they are much more...

The bike in the picture is my road bike, a cannondale synapse 7 triple road bike, not the best, not the worst. I've had it 3.5 years now. Over the last few years my bike is my escape, it's is my trusty stead when I compete in triathlons, I'm learning to make my bike my solitude for body and mind.

When I ride what ever I may have cluttering my mind is decluttered and cleared. I've laughed, I've cried and cycled till my lungs have had a thorough work out.

I'm hopeless at hills, I'm still making mistakes with the gears... But I ride!

Today was my first ride of 2015... A small 10 miler to get me going for the year.

I tried taking an arty shot of my bike in the garage and failed dismally, this was as close as I could get.
