Yorkshire's Matterhorn

Everyone knows the memorable shape of Switzerland's Matterhorn. Well this is the best that Yorkshire can do by way of competition. Any Yorkshire lass or lad who claims to love the outdoors knows the shape of this mountain (or hill to be correct). Its shape comes from its geology with a hard layer of Millstone Grit above the limestone. A minnow perhaps but with what the Matterhorn probably doesn't have - caves big enough to contain a cathedral. Anyway it was the first hill I climbed and I shall always have affection for it.
