Moving in?

This is one of a pair of Blue Tits that have been weighing up the pros and cons of our little nesting box on the back of our garage......it's been up there probably for 5 years and been inhabited every year bar one, and it is looking likely that we will have new neighbours again shortly :-) they are fascinating to watch, they flit in and out of the honeysuckle, then up onto the trellis facing the nesting box, back and forth back and forth!

Not sure, but I think this might be the female........I'm no twitcher, but apparently the males head is more blue?!

The little birds have not been overly impressed today though as we have been out there for several hours, tidying, sweeping, trying to make good the downtrodden plants, following the new fence going in. It could have been worse, but the daffs and some tulips have suffered most :-( . We are now waiting for four new trellis panels that we will put up against a 4 panel section of the back fence where we grow our clematis. Think we will need 3 or 4 new ones........any suggestions of good flowering varieties welcome :-)

No doubt we will both be stiff as boards tomorrow.....think a soak in the bath might be in order! Mind you need to,throw together a quick prawn curry first......and that will,have to wait until after the rugby has finished, so,it might be 9pm by the time I get that bath!
