Ray, a drop of golden sun..........so la la

Well we were up early, tree surgeon came and went, fire tree now minus a third :-) and the old tree has bit the dust!

Fencing guys arrived to continue their labours, all whilst I was hanging out of the bedroom window with my camera, with various filters!
I also had my reactor glasses on! It was all quite fascinating to watch and despite what the useless weather forecasters said, we had a pretty good view!

We have also been to support Emily at her schools fundraising coffee and cake morning, absolute bedlam but fun, and hopefully they will have raised a few hundred pounds!

We are back home now, time for a decent coffee ;-) and to give the fence guys a well earned drink, they must be parched!

We are hoping to get out for a couple of hours in the garden shortly. Not too chilly, but it has clouded over completely now, so I guess we were lucky earlier on to get such a good view of today's solar eclipse :-)

Not the easiest thing to photograph, took loads, but this is one of the better ones! Had loads of white outs!!!!!!!!!
