The first image
from my wonderful observatory :-)
Aside from a couple of minor head injuries (forgot to duck and hit the crossbar across the door, then ducked under the telescope and bashed my head on the collimation screws on the bottom of the scope) it has been a successful test of the new outbuilding.
Sadly, viewing is going to have to take place on school holidays and weekends as it is remaining far too light to get anything much until about midnight.
However, the moon was resplendent this evening, so you will just have to make do with that for now.
Am back out to the scope now, to be chewed on by midgies, to observe some twinklies and to imbibe some vino.
One week till half term. It can't come quickly enough.
