Silent scream

To Bo'ness for the splendid Hippodrome Festival of Silent Cinema. EdiSteve and I saw 1916 cowboy yarn Hell's Hinges with a live score from Neil Brand and the Dodge Brothers. It was huge fun. Obviously, we'd have been among the first film stars had we lived back then, such is our talent.

We've another six events at the festival, centred on the Art Deco Hippodrome cinema - worth a visit at any time of the year.
