Mrs Bullfinch

I don't see many female Bullfinch  -  or perhaps its just that I don't notice them as much as the more brightly coloured males.  I noticed a few today though, so perhaps there was more activity than usual going off   -  perhaps to do with nest building. 

The day has been beautiful and bright and has been a very welcome change from the recent dark and dismal weather. All we need now is a positive announcement from Blipfoto tomorrow and the weekend will be off to a great start.
