Old fashioned traffic light

George Street Luton, 2015 and 1950s. Presumabley we didn't have traffic lights to control this junction which is now pedestrianized of course as you can see in the left hand image.

As predicted, we didn't get any update from Matthew re - his progress through France until we chased him late yesterday evening. Diana suspects that he is driving all the way down to the Med and not stopping overnight near Paris as he claimed he would do. Regardless, he will hopefully arrive today, and who knows, he might even think to let us know.

Brought a locking wheel nut key for the car this week. £32 for what is basically a socket. Daylight robbery. Wheres a policeman when you need one?

Update from Matthew - he has arrived, didn't stop overnight near paris but told his mum he would so that she didn't worry. He somehow things that makes everything alright. Plonker
