Just in Time

I planted calendula seeds way back in November. Progress has been slow, to say the least, and I didn't think we would see a bloom before we returned to Alaska. But a few days ago the buds appeared and today we were honored with this lovely flower! It looks like 4 or 5 more aren't far behind.
