Friends

Cole and I got together with several of the moms and babies from our yoga class yesterday at our local Arboretum. Myself along with the other moms didn't waste any time snapping away pictures of this adorable group. From left to right we have Melia, Phillip, Harvey, and my Cole. I think there are probably hundreds of ways we could interpret what these babies are thinking and "saying" to each other as they interact. What a joy it is to just watch my son take in the sights around him, including other people, and most especially other babies. He is in awe of most everything. He has taught me to sit back more and just take in the scene. The other moms and I were talking about how becoming a parent opens you up to new experiences, such as visiting your local arboretum. Even though you've lived in the area for X number of years, you often don't take the time to visit local attractions and places, many of which are free. So many doors open when enter this phase of your life, if you let them.
