Perfect day!

Had another fantastic (but busy) day today.

I did a beginners photo course this morning with a couple of friends who are into photography too. I'd done a course while I still had my bridge camera and found a lot of it useful once I got my DSLR, but still felt like I would get something out of going back over the basics now I use the camera so much. The course was set out well and really informative. I was aware of the fact I asked more questions than anyone else and talked more than anyone else (story of my life!). Then we went into Lichfield to try out some of the techniques. I actually didn't take many pics, but just fiddled around with settings that I didn't know I had.

The two friends that came with me are friends I don't get to see too often so we had a lovely long indulgent girly lunch afterwards, sat by the river watching the world go by...bliss!

I feel like I've had such a lovely weekend, with lovely friends, lovely plans being made, lovely food eaten, and a total overuse of the word lovely!
