Mystery hole and how to get to it!

We spent a lovely day in Stratford-on-Avon with friends today.

This scene occurred while we were in a beer garden after having a lovely meal. It was just a hole in a tree (no nest or anything) but the kids were determined to get up to it to see what was in it. Cue lots of "How about if I lift you?" and "maybe if I jump and then you lift me" and "that doesn't work, you lift me again" and finally "How about a chair?"

It was all very sweet :-)
