Special Prices

We were out to dinner with friends and fellow blipper HedgeHouse at a local favorite. The specials of the day are listed, in both Spanish and English, on a whiteboard which the waiter brings to the table when taking orders. We have long heard of the different prices charged "gringos" and locals, but rarely have we seen it expressed in black (well, green anyway) and white. Check out the price of fresh lobster and langosta fresca, which even the most rudimentary Spanish speaker knows is the same thing. None of us ordered lobster/langosta, so we never determined the actual price, but we did have a delicious dinner with good friends (who unfortunately will be departing all too soon). Credit to Hedgehouse for noticing the price discrepancy and not featuring it on his journal.
