Finishing touches

This is the best I can do for the 14th - posting a friend's photo of my backside side view as I tried to adjust a few plants before rushing in to put the finishing touches to the lunch.

The curry party seems to have been a great success - at least, HH and I and our house guests enjoyed it, which is usually supposed to be a good sign, and everyone else appeared to as well.

Altogether a good day, and good to have our house guests with us. They  don't often come up and I hesitate to invite them, as it must revive sad memories. They lost their house, just down the road from us, in the 2011 landslides and floods - as in it disappeared completely, was washed away and not a trace was left behind. However, I think they were glad to be up here, and I suppose the scars are healing, although the sadness must linger on.
