WOW!!!!! What an AMAZING shark day today!

We had 2 trips today and both were fabulous! In the morning, we had 5 sharks around the boat at the same time and this afternoon, we had 3 sharks at once.

Three of us vols got in the cage this afternoon and I couldn't hold my breathe for long enough!!!!!! I was exhausted by the time we got back out of the cage and I got some great video footage :-)

As you can see, one of the sharks got hold of the bait and managed to bite it off the line. Mandala, one of our fabulous crew, is always very disappointed when the shark gets the bait. The idea of the bait is to draw the shark closer to the cage and not to feed the sharks so the crew do their best not to let the shark get it.

We had a night out tonight in Gansbaai. We were invited to Jules' birthday party at one of the bars. It was a really fun night! It was a hat party but instead of a hat, I bought some red devil horns to wear!

All in all, it's been a superb day today :-)
