Before & After Series #6 - Master Bath

This room shows perhaps the most dramatic transformation between what it was "before" and what it has become.  When we first moved in, this was a horrid little dark room tacked on to the end of the house, next to the master bedroom.  The wallpaper was stained, there were about a million ladybugs living in there, and it smelled really musty.

We added a large dormer window to give the room more light, air, and space, and also raised the ceiling height.  The top two pictures are the before shots.  The middle two pictures were taken from approximately the same spot, and the photograph at the bottom shows the new dormer.

When the weather improves, the snow has melted, and the garden wakes up, I'll do another Before & After series of the exterior.

On a separate note:  On this Saint Patrick's Day, my father would have celebrated his 90th birthday.

Oh!  And one more thing:  This idea from a fellow blipper on FB:

JOIN US TOMORROW!! MARCH 18TH! Take a photo of yourself with arms stretched wide (as if you were going to hold hands with the people next to you) and post as your blip for the day. Please make it a square photo with your hands right at the edge so when the photos are together, we will be holding hands!! Tag your image with ‪#‎blipfotoforever‬. A great show of solidarity....help us show everyone just how important Blipfoto is! Thank you Sally Ballantyne for the wonderful idea!! Spread the word...we need to get this out to everyone who blips!!
