Oh what a perfect day....

walking Chester round the beautiful lake

tidying up the garden

planting tubs and containers

lunch in the garden

reading in the garden

snoozing in the garden

marking year10 assessments in the garden

french cider in the garden

quiche and salad in the garden

NO WONDER PEOPLE IN THE MED ARE LESS STRESSED!!!!

I also ventured to my favourite nursery in Marbury to buy some plants for my containers. It's a beautiful walled nursery, where they concentrate on the quality of the plants rather than gifts, coffee shops etc etc you see in so many garden centers these days. (Don't get me wrong I love them too, but when I buy plants it's Marbury every time!!) Unfortunately the owner of the nursery is a bit of a grumpy troll and yet again I got barked at when I tried to read the back of a label! ( I wanted to find out about the little plant in the blip. I have never seen one before.... It is so delicate, I felt it deserved a little container all to it self!!)

Apart from the troll it was another pretty perfect day!!! A pretty perfect weekend really, spent with one of the three favourite men in my life!! :-)
