A boy's best friend

This is Joe's gift to his mum this morning. He always buys cuddly toys for her, quite sweet really considering he's 10 years old. It reminded me of a funny, but lovely line in a play many moons ago:-

"A boy's best friend is his mother, coz when you lose the one, you never get another."

So, to all you Mums out there, and also to all the lost Mums, and especially to all the Mums with lost children, 'Happy Mother's Day'.
