Explain your title

A day trip to Leeds, to give a talk to the West Yorkshire AGS group.  It was meant to be a 48hr break with Jacinta who was going to visit the Early music Shop at Saltaire and try out wooden tenor recorders with a view to buying one.  Family health issues shot that down in flames leaving me to take the train to Headingley and back .... nine and a half hours travelling for a 70 minute lecture.  Nice to catch up with an old friend over take-away fish and chips beforehand and they seemed to enjoy the talk :-)

The talk was 'Alpines for the Time Challenged.'  Before kick-off and elderly gent came up and said in true gritty Yorkshire style,
 "Can you explain your title lad, these clever titles, you don't know what to expect, we nearly didn't come tha knows"   
As it happens I explain the title at the start of the talk but that's another story.

There were a few plants on display, I liked this cushion saxifrage the best.
