Ta Dah!

After a lovely lie in I headed over to the Quays, again, to meet up with Chrissie. We wandered around the markets and then went for a drink...and some warmth...in the Lowry. 

We then went up to the viewing platform in the Imperial War Museum. You can just see into the set of Coronation Street from up there, but it was the view down through the floor...all the way down....that made me wobble. 

After buying a 'height recovery muffin' I headed off to meet up with Denise who was over for the day to meet family. She had managed to escape for an hour or so and we nipped into the pub for a good old catch up over a drink.
