Not quite as high as flying

View from the top of Hartside Pass – 1904ft. We stopped briefly on our way home from Newcastle Airport, as the light was so good and there was still some snow about. It was nice to see some hills after Amsterdam, but it was very cold up there!

We have had a wonderful couple of days. I don’t know why it has taken us ten years to make a return trip to a most beautiful city.
 
And we arrived back just as flowers were delivered. Great daughters I have.
