Penny's Pink

The main event today was lunch with a good friend. A special moment this morning was the first ever sighting of a Lesser Redpoll  on a feeder in the garden. It was only there for a few seconds so a decent photo was out of the question - I might be able to get a better one at Longshaw when I go off to volunteer tomorrow.
I was complaining to Knottman a few weeks ago that I couldn't find a Hellebore for the garden in the deep colour I wanted, not only did I find one this week, but it was named after me ;-D
