Not much growing yet...

...on the allotment other than weeds.
This cardoon or globe artichoke is being allowed to keep going though, along with few inherited strawberry plants, the fruit bushes and fruit trees.

I spent a couple of hours covering up most of it with weed control fabric. More to do on Sunday. Quite satisfying and may enable some planting or sowing next weekend.  Don't really know what I am doing but no change there!
