Sunday in the city

Headed down to Sakae (Nagoya's city center) for some book shopping today and had a pleasant surprise. The city had blocked traffic for a large section of its main shopping drag (Otsu Dori) so that citizens could just use the whole street for ambling, vending and pretty much just enjoying the sunshine and peace and quiet. Works for me.
