An ivy covered tree trunk on the footpath by the River Brathay at Skelwith Bridge before the rain started. 

The rain didn't stop the contractors who were resurfacing the layby outside our house. I was surprised to feel so much vibration inside from their machinery. 

Spent hours in the afternoon in the kitchen (cooking) then fell asleep on the sofa in the evening after all the hard work! Hence the early morning blip the day after.
