Buttermere

We had a wonderful blip meet with Trevor and Ros today, after a very warm welcome and a special visit to Wordsworth House and gardens, we made our way to Buttermere.    We enjoyed hot chocolate and delicious cheese scones before setting off on a very bracing walk around the water, the wind was whipping up the water into flumes which were spectacular to see, neither Trevor or Ros had seen it happen like that before.      This tree is near the beginning of the walk and I like how it echoes the slope of the fell.   Thank you both very much for making us feel so welcome and for showing us another stunning area of the Lakes.
