Fly past Part 2.

We were taken by surprise by these geese today near the Pow Burn bridge. They took off from a nearby field without any of the usual squawks and honks of annoyance so they were upon/over us almost before we knew it.
Saw the elusive egret twice (or might there be a pair!) but not close enough to photograph.
The wind was down and the sun shone, most of rather time, so we might even have the very beginnings of a sun-tan.
Getting a bit hacked off by the lack of anything kitchen-y, sink, cooker, washing machine, etc. if there is ever a next time for doing a complete kitchen renewal, please remind me to move to an hotel for the week!
