Fete Day

Hats ready for new owners on a stall at our village fete this afternoon. They were needed, as the sun blazed down! People were queuing up to come in as the church bells rang out.
Ice creams and cream teas were a sell-out, as were the cakes and produce, but all stallholders were busy, dressed in splendid hats and crowns with red, white and blue outfits.
Everyone enjoyed a very happy, quintessentially English summer fete.
