Sharing in the shed

This is Rowen who uses our shed as his studio.  Rowen is the most incredibly talented artist, who is also amazingly articulate.  You can see here his hands are a blur as he strives to communicate what he is attempting (and achieving) to impart through his paintings.

Whilst I'm in the garden there's a regular flow of who's who in the upper mountains arts community that drops by for a chat and a sharing of information, support and encouragement.  Today Robert Malherbe and David Middlebrook came to call - all suitably paint splattered.

I take my hat off to every one of them.  So often the life of an artist is hard, but, you know, I reckon they don't have too bad a time of it :)
