Ducking in with Louise

Had a get-together with Louise Markus (our local fed member for those out of the area) briefly this afternoon so she could engineer some publicity for a grant that we have just received through her office from the Dept of Veterans Affairs.

It's for building a centenary gateway down by the duck pond at the entrance to the Soldier's Memorial Park.  Many aspects of this park are related to WWI such as the beautiful Rhododendron banks, each Rhodo planted for a local soldier, yet there are many that are not aware of this history to our wonderful park.   

Unfortunately the amount received does not cover the cost of the gateway, so additional funds will need to be raised.  We're thinking a buy a brick scheme - any thoughts you may have on this I'd be really pleased to hear and if anyone would like to help, even in just the smallest capacity, could you please send me a message.
