No pressure!

Yesterday afternoon I turned on the tap - no water!  Something's gone wrong with our well system.  G thought the pressure gauge might have given up the ghost, so I went to town this morning to get a new one while he tried to figure out what else might be wrong since neither of the plumbers had returned our calls.  The new one seemed to be working at first, the dial moved, but it wasn't increasing.  A friend of ours who is skilled in all things electrical is out in the well house with G right now to see if it might be an electrical problem.   Hopefully they'll be able to fix it or at least figure out what the problem is, and if we need a plumber, hopefully we'll find one who isn't on island time!  In the meantime, we'll fill containers at our neighbour's.  Good thing we have plenty of experience dealing with things like this!

edit:  looks like it's electrical and they're off in search of a replacement part.  Fingers crossed!
edit #2:  an hour later and it's fixed - and still no return call from any plumber!  Thank goodness for a handy husband and his handy friend.  :)
