Action on the river

The ships going to and from the ports up Columbia river pass by right outside the hotel we stayed at. Today the river was so calm, and the weather warm. We enjoyed it by spending good portion of the day out in the sun. Now back home, where the deer had eaten the almost ready to bloom tulips in our absence. I had constructed a barrier out of fencing and everything  : (
