Expressions

I love witnessing Cole's facial expressions. Happy (big smile), sad (big tears), frustrated (pursing his lips and blowing raspberries), inquisitive (eyebrows raised and eyes open wide). Watching him is the best entertainment. I love knowing that I can often bring a big smile to his face by being really goofy or singing a song. I can feel any worry I have melt away when I see him smile or laugh. What a gift! I took this picture on our screened porch today. We had a beautiful 72 degree day, and my child loves to be outdoors. We spent most of the day outside, going for a run in the jogging stroller, him playing on a blanket while I planted some vegetable seedlings, nursing him on the blanket on the lush, green rye grass. Spring fever has set in!
