Village river

We had passing sleet in the morning, but by mid-day we had a beautiful day - cold, and a bit windy, but beautiful. Some people are complaining that the ferries are not running, but who would want to be out on those seas? I walked down to the shore and back up the village river, which is swollen hugely with all the recent rain. The strength of the river is amazing today.
