Ghost of Christmas Past...

Spring has arrived in Manchester. The sun is out and the temperature has rocketed into the low 60s. People in warmer climes might raise their eyebrows at this revaluation. But in Manchester in early March this is a BIG deal. As I post people are sitting out on the terrace of ODDEST Bar drinking cold beer and cocktails and one of the barmen is in shorts. He declined to be in this blip though.

I was in the city centre earlier and spotted this Christmas decoration marooned behind the fence enclosing where they are laying the tracks for the new tram route along Corporation Street. I guess it will stay there until the route opens in 2017.
