Sorry to D-M who commented on my previous Mt Cook photo on this same day.

That one has now been relegated in favour of a breakfast blip of really, really good friends - including one who needed longer arms so that he could read the menu (mind you, it was in French!).

Goodbye D-M and B, thanks for your company on the trail, it has been heaps of fun.
