Yup I have resorted to this.......
spring is coming I have been advised. Flowers will bloom soon. Until then....actually I needed an excuse to buy these jelly beans. Since Monday is the official, I am starting my diet leave me alone day..... This weekend is SO no holes barred.
Get this:
A serving size of jellybeans for about 110 calories is 19. Who did this math? Why not a serving of 20 or 25. It makes far more sense. I actually counted out 19 this afternoon at work. Dropped 4 on the floor. I figure those had all the calories in them.
I had some help from Tony Tigerbear tonight in doing these flowers. His artistic input resulted in some falling on the floor ( the ones with calories) and another with kitty spit on it. Yuck
Tomorrow the band has a gig up in Brunswick at the farmers market. We meet the greatest people there. The last time I met a man ( kind of a close talker) who wanted to know if I sang in a band. I Was speechless for a moment.
If I could would wear my pajama bottoms or yoga pants. I would. But I won't. My cowboy boots don't match them. That's one of the hardest things about performing : what to wear. When we started I wore skirts. That was before there were weeks of 3 gigs a week. I am not ironing a different outfit everyday. My favorite pajama pants (fleece) have monkeys and bananas on them. This is a festive look I can So carry off. Hold on men, don't all rush the stage at once!
Tonight I watched a live feed of my nephew playing in a basketball tournament. I have watched quit a few of his games on the live feeds but tonight I watched every streaming second of this game. No matter how many times I watch, I still don't get it. I swear they changed the rules from when I was in high school. ( my brother thought that comment was hysterical a couple of years ago.). I of course am more concerned at why the shoes don't all match, and shouldn't the shirts all be tucked in and really who chooses the length of those shorts? Seriously they look a little like pajamas.......wait........lol ahhhhhhhh I get it!
On another note,
Saw a little e-card thing today that said: "Sunday we put the clocks ahead one hour. Oh no that was the hour I was going to the gym,..."
I like that card.
There was also one that said a glass of red wine is like a trip to the gym.
yup I just may love Sunday. I am going to sleep so...
G'day to my friends in the Southern Hemisphere. And goodnight and morning to the north.
