Hook a Duck

We’ve all seen those machines with mechanical arms at fun fairs and amusement arcades where the goal of the game is to guide an arm over the prizes and try to grab one and carry it over to the corner where it is dropped though a hatch into gleeful waiting hands.  Except of course, for the majority of times, the prize loosens in the arm’s grip and it drops back into the pile of fluffy toys or whatever.
 
All this came to mind as I watched the lorry delivering the sand and cement for the patio.  These pictures were taken though a non-too clean porch window, this being just the first of three large bags delivered.
