Watching

I was a little shocked to wake up to frost this morning, having got used to temperatures in the twenties in Spain! However, it was a beautiful morning, so I couldn't resist going out with my camera to see what I could find before getting down to the post-holiday pile of things I needed to do!

I spotted these deer in the distance and they spotted me, too! We stood watching each other for ages - they were obviously trying to decide whether or not I was any kind of threat to them. I was the one to move away first, happy with my shot.
I was pretty pleased with this goldcrest, too!
