The Road to Whatipu

I'm not sure about the ethics of long back blips but hey ho. This is a photo from 10th March 2014 and our third day in New Zealand. I'd gone off on my own for the first time out to the isolated, windswept beaches of the Tasman Sea west of Auckland (where the film, The Piano, was in part filmed) and I'm finally writing it up today and reliving the excitement driving the gravel road to Whatipu.
