Wedding Anniversary Present

Back to work. Waited all day to see if my new boss was going to speak to me about the takeover with not luck. After he had gone I spoke to my old boss to find out what was going on. Seems that Nikon are looking to expand into the medical device industry. We are their first choice, out of 1800 companies, to buy. They came around for a visit in November and put an offer in in December, which was rejected. The new offer of around $400 million has been taken to the shareholders but is unlikely to be rejected.
They have stated that they have no interest in moving any of the sites at present but will have to see how long that lasts once they have taken it over. Looks like I will have a job for the next 6 months but who knows after that.
No news on the flat either. Not turning out to be a better year than the last one at this rate.
J took a few work colleagues to the whisky society tonight. Turns out that Queen Street isn’t a members bar anymore but is open to the public. Not sure if its worth having the membership if that’s the case. It will ruin the place. Thanks to the Scotch Malt Whisky Society for consulting with its members on this issue. Firstly it closed the place on a Sunday and now this.

Anyway here is the wedding anniversary present we bought ourselves. Any ideas what it could be?
