Standing Stones

Wedding anniversary today. 7 years married and couldn't be happier. Love you J.

Felt a bit better this morning. Weather wasn’t great, cold and wet. Typical west coast Scotland.
Headed to Inverarary Jail for a tour, part of the deal we got. Great place to have a look around.
From there we went over to Kilmartin where there are lots of standing stones. Had a look around the small museum there and had lunch, of great game pies, in the car looking at some of the standing stones. After the rain had stopped we ventured out for a walk around them. There are a few in a field and then a ring of stones in a small wood. Appear to be some sort of burial ground.
Headed back to the hotel for a rest and to watch the disappointing England game. Never thought I would be supporting the Welsh in a few weeks time.
   
Had a great dinner at the George pub. Great steak, bottle of Malbec and ice cream for pudding followed by a dram.
